How many appointments do I need?
First visit (1 day)
During this appointment, Dr. Lugo will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and evaluate bone density and quantity.Some patients with insufficient bone or gum tissue require bone or soft tissue grafts.
Implants are typically placed in a single sitting but require a period of osseointegration.
After placing implant, the period of time is aproximately 3 months to anchor and heal, at which point your dentist can complete the procedure.
* Note: We provide you temporary teeth that are made out of acrilic. This way you will have teeth till your second appointment. (Free of charge).
Second Visit (1 day)
Your second visit will be to place the abutment over the implant, now that the implant is well integrated into your jaw bone.
The following step is to take impressions for your final crowns and place them.
Third and last visit (1 day)
